Ikelite Dual Handles and Tray Assembly for Ikelite Digital Housing
This Ikelite dual handle and tray allows attachment of any two Ikelite Strobes using the quick release mechanism on the handles. This handles can also be used for easier handling. In addition, it will neutralize buoyancy by its added weight for any of the smaller Ikelite housings. Hardware for attaching to Ikelite housings is included.

I run both an Ikelite SLR case and a P&S case but up until this purchase, only the SLR had the dual handle tray. I added the dual handle to the P&S to make it a) easier to control from either hand and b) to mount a video light/second strobe. With the tray in place, the case was much easier to control in tough environments (most recently under the ice on a lake). Of course, it adds extra weight to the camera, but nothing that's unmanageable. All in all, a good purchase.

Essentially required for steady shots with one or two strobes. After installing I did notice that there was very little clearance between the latches so you have to align it nearly perfect center.
After installation the ease of use was tremendous and was the best investment for this underwater camera system.

Well worth the small additional cost over the single handle. The added versatility is obvious - additional strobe if necessary - but what I discovered was the ease in handling, both in and out of the water - think about handing it up to a boat in 3-4 foot swells. Trust me, 'two handles are better than one'. Only minimal added weight for otherwise restrictive airline travel.
