The Velbon QB-635L Quick Release Plate fits the QRA-635 and QRA-667 quick release systems, and the PH-163Q, 173Q, 263, PHD-51Q, 61Q, and QHD-61Q tripod heads. This plate features a long platform with adjustable 1/4"-20 camera screw and two pop-up anti-twist pins.
A quick release plate can be kept attached to the camera's base and allows the user to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from the tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
- Two pop-up anti-twist pins help the camera to stay in place on the plate.

This plate is fantastic. It attaches easily to the camera and has an imbedded key to tighten the screw. It stays tight even in difficult outdoor conditions. The only drawback was the key can easily fall out of the unit.

Comments about Velbon QB-635L Anti-Twist Quick Release Plate:
I bought this with a velbon ballhead, and so far I like it. Something that may help other - the anti-twist pins have to be pushed up. I used a hairpin from the underside, and just leave them up all the time now unless I'm storing it for some time. I haven't had a chance to try out the pins, but it seems they will work fine, although I'd like it if they were just a little bit longer. Still, a nice alternative to a bulky l-plate.
Only downside is that the mounting screw is a little fiddly but that's only a minor nuissance, and I'm sure I'll get used to it.
