The DPA 4022 is a cardioid lavalier microphone with a built-in FET-preamplifier. The 4022 features a linear frequency response of 40Hz to 20kHz (+/-2dB) making it versatile for general instrument or voice capturing. The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing noise and ambiance at the off-axis sections of the microphone capsule.
The linear frequency response and cardioid polar pattern allow the 4022 to be used in broadcast or spot miking in concert halls or TV studios where the microphone should remain low-profile. The microphone features a 5cm (1.97") rear mounted cable allowing the microphone to be suspended from it's own cable or mounted on a stand.
