Wonderful color and saturation but only one place on the planet to process the slides. This is the last batch made by Kodak.

I first used this film in Viet-Nam in 1969;not the best environment for film. Was unable to refrigerate, but didn't seem to bother the film. Recently printed some of them and some of my father's RETINA shots from the 50's and they look like taken yesterday! Please join me in begging KODAK to continue manufacture. Great color, contrast; everything.

Comments about Kodak PKR 135-36 Kodachrome 64 Professional Color Slide Film (EXPIRES 9/09):
As i said in my last post about Kodachrome film
i am adding a new line to boast this film
the difference is this film from KR
is it needs to be keep frozen in till the shot when i did this I got Blazing accurate super rich super colorful shots of star trails with the colors of each star revealed as it streaked over the glass still water of a small pond
compared to KR PKR is a well aged film
like a fine tuned race car ready for the RACE
and this film is at its peak best
Color contrast saturation sharpness
are perfect
and i give it a 1 star rating over KR Kodachrome film
Rules for using this film as said in instruction keep frozen in till you are ready to use
when you thaw the film place in a zip lock bag with silica gel close the bag and put in in the Fridge for 1 day this will slowly thaw the film and the silica will zap any moisture that may form on the film as it DE-thaws
if in a rush do the same thing but at room temp of 72 degrees for 2 hours before using
its safe for the film between use and development about 90 days
when i got my back i scanned them in and they were better by 1 star then KR
This film works well with any lens that is F-1.1 to 1.9 and OK lens 2.0 to 2.8
for Night time shots of star trails
also is Good for sunset and sunrises
and scenic photos
this film was used in Lost maples state park vanderpool Texas and for Sunrise sunset photos in Austin
