Adjustable Clamp Company Pony Spring "A" Clamp with Plastic Tips - 2"
This is the Adjustable Clamp Company's 2" Classic "A" Clamp -- strong, rust-resistant, durable. This size is perfect for holding a reflector board, gathering cloth backgrounds or drapes, or securing a roll of seamless paper to its crossbar.
Also known as a Pony Clamp, it features replaceable plastic end tips to avoid marring delicate finishes, and plastic handle caps for comfort.

I use this to clamp down my paper backdrop, to prevent it from unrolling. Its also strong enough to hold a large reflector in place. It requires some strength to open, for example, my girlfriend can't open it with a single hand. The soft rubber tips are a good addition to prevent markings or creases. I used to use paper clips and other stationary tools from [...] to do the same job. Just buy these, they are really cheap and they just work.I purchased two.

BH recommeds a pair, now I think I would be better at least 4! Cause with seamless paper, you get a V shape on your background when using just 2!!!
a problem is you have to be somewhat strong in your hands to use it! Not a problem for me. But I am sure there would be all kinds of people using it, and not everyone can handle this hand effort!!
So, "ergonomically speaking", not so good.
