Adjustable Clamp Company Pony Spring "A" Clamp with Plastic Tips - 3"
This is the Adjustable Clamp Company's 3" Classic "A" Clamp -- strong, rust-resistant, durable. This size is perfect for holding a reflector board, gathering cloth backgrounds or drapes, or securing a large roll of seamless paper to its crossbar.
Also known as a Pony Clamp, it features replaceable plastic end tips to avoid marring delicate finishes, and plastic handle caps for comfort.

I ordered two of these, one to secure each side of my white seamless so that it doesn't unroll. I work alone, so need to be able to hold the roll of paper in one hand and clamp with the other. The clamp is too strong to open with one hand. I need to use both hands. Also, the tips are too wide for the paper roll when it's on the support.
As someone already echoed, this has its uses, but not for small jobs (especially when you're working alone).
