I admit I was a little doubtful due to the fact of the low cost of these binos. I thought "This sounds too good to be true...". But I was wrong: These binos are incredible - especially considering the price! They provide a sharp and very clear view at all distances, are easy to focus and provide a nice, wide field of view/vision. They are even weather resistant. They really shine in low light situations such as dusk or dawn or even at night. I've used them for viewing the moon and observing wildlife in the backyard - just great! In fact, we own two (expensive) 10x42 binos too but these binos are the new favorites in our household. As a matter of fact, we just ordered three more: Two for our mountain cabin in CO and one as a gift for a good friend.
Cons: I wish they would focus to a little bit closer and I would recommend getting a better (wider) strap.
Bottom line: You just can't beat the value at this price!

These 10x50 binoculars are clear, easy to use, have a wide apperature which is important for astronomy, are fairly lightweight, and have a wide field of view. Most reviewed pairs were over $150, so this was a great starter. Excellent price,[...]...I have absolutely no complaints.

I originally bought these binoculars for celestial use. I was amazed to see a clear and crisp image of the craters on the moon(the image will not be as clear when the moon is full).however, as with all relatively high powered binoculars stability will be a problem that is easily solved with a tripod.all in all with all the features it has to offer this item will be worth every penny you paid for and makes a great christmas gift!
Problems Encountered: stability(not terrible though)
Items I Recommend: any cheap tripod will do
