I chose to purchase the Remote Audio coiled XLR cable when the Pearstone one that I originally wanted was out of stock. This cable has worked just fine with my external microphone (Audio Technica 875R). I practice a lot of movement as a filmmaker both in my documentary and rockumentary work and it is such a relief to have a concise chord that can move with me. Gone are the days of wrapping my 3 foot XLR chord around my right arm while I shoot. Thanks a bunch B&H.

Bought the new Canon XA10 which is about the size and weight of of a sub sandwich. Having ten feet of cable from my shotgun mount to the xlr inputs 6 inches away would have not only been horribly in the way but would have almost doubled the rig weight. This cable stays out of my way while shooting and can extend a couple of feet if I need to stick the mic in someone's face.
Recommended.

I purchased this as a jumper to run a shotgun mic on-camera. The coiled cable keeps things clean in this role, but still gives you some length should you need to pull the mic off the camera and get it a little closer to your subject.

I am using it with a Sony Z1 and Sennheiser K6. I like the Coiled feature. Easy to use and well built. Two thumbs up on this product!

this cable does a great job in connecting my phantom-power shotgun mic into my panasonic camcorder. the xlr connectors seem to be well built and should last longer than most. a good buy.

I purchased this cable for on-camera use with my JVC GY-HM100. The cable works perfectly, but I would not recommend it for on-camera use with this camera. It's too long (the jvc only needs about 12") and the coils actually catch the wind and cause reverberations in the mic. Also, the coils tend to shake from side to side and collide with the camera, creating unnecessary handling noise.

So far no problems with it...haven't had it that long. Nice and compact coils, good connections.

I use this to connect a shotgun mic to my Sony Camera. The mic came w/ a cable, but it doesn't strech. It would be easy to get it caught and do some damage. I like the flexibility of this cable.

This is ideal for on camera mics. No handling noise with it and it just works like a dream.
