With a bright aperture of f/2.8-4.5, this lens offers a super wide zoom range from 24mm to 135mm, and is the ideal general all-purpose lens. The lens features one Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass element and 2 Aspherical elements, which results in excellent correction of chromatic aberration.
- Incorporates an inner focusing system and features a non-rotating front lens barrel for convenient filter use
- A custom designed "Perfect Hood" with bayonet mount is provided to prevent extraneous light from degrading the image quality
- The materials used in this lens are lead and arsenic free.

As a new photographer, I was very happy with its ease of use. I used the lens with a Sigma SD14 camera to take nature, portrait and landscape pictures. It took some great pictures overall but the color and clarity of some of them were not always perfect. Now, as I said, I am new to digital photography and It could be user inexperience, not the lens. Overall I was happy with it.

I use this len on a Nikon D100 & D200, It is very fast AF and I readly like the OS system. Compaired it with other lens that does not have OS and it readly works great. VERY CLEAN LENS
