Excellent for our remote ENG productions, long lasting. I like the display of how much charge is left gives a real accurate gauge of battery life. Great universal Anton Bauer connection, we also use it for our portable light from Lite Panel.

Comments about Anton Bauer DIONIC-90 Lithium-Ion Battery:
I've been using Anton Bauer products for over 20 years, and with it, I can always go on a shoot with confidence knowing my power is good. There are other batteries that are cheaper, but when doing weddings and other non-repeatable events, reliability is first priority. Of course, you get what you pay for.

Comments about Anton Bauer DIONIC-90 Lithium-Ion Battery:
After 17 years of video production and thousands of miles of footage behind us, we have tried just about every battery product on the market. The Anton Bauer Dionic-90 has blown everything else away. Like the old saying "you get what you pay for", this battery just excels in every way. It's sturdy, charges quickly, lightweight and operates for an absolutely amazing long time. This last purchase was to replace a Dionic-90 battery that was six years old and was still ticking. Unfortunately it was accidentally dropped from a balcony onto concrete below. We have several other Dionic-90s that are six years old and still last the better part of a days shoot.

Comments about Anton Bauer DIONIC-90 Lithium-Ion Battery:
Not much to say... they charge up, then supply power for a long time.
They're Lithium Ion so they run longer and weigh less. I'd avoided the technology for a while but after seeing several people's batteries run circles around my little HyTron 50's I decided to go for it this time.
I live in a place with pretty hot summers and I'll do my best to keep these guys cool to extend their life, but that's not always avoidable.

Comments about Anton Bauer DIONIC-90 Lithium-Ion Battery:
I use these batteries on my JVC GY-HM700 HD camera. The real plus is that the weight is low, and with the new smaller camera designs it helps keeping a good balance. I get hours of power and the seem to charge up quickly. One improvement would be a light on the status window for low light situations.

Comments about Anton Bauer DIONIC-90 Lithium-Ion Battery:
I have used these batteries for at least 3 years to power film and video cameras. The dionic-90 gives you extra run time with less weight. Anton Bauer is the brand everyone copies. HC models are good too, but often don't fit older applications because of increased battery size. I also use the Hytron 50. It has less run time but is a good value.

Comments about Anton Bauer DIONIC-90 Lithium-Ion Battery:
We use Dionic 90s to power our new JVC GY-HM700 ENG cameras. Together with the Tandem 70 charger/power supply, the combined power system weighs less than 3 pounds....that's 50% more power than an old ProPac "brick" at just over half the weight. Coupled with conservative use of a 20-watt Ultralight 2, one battery can last an entire ENG shift. Of course, you'll always want a second battery.
I'm interested to see how long these batteries last before needing replacement.....I've heard only about 30 months.
