This combination of clamp and ballhead is to attach to a car window or narrow sill and support a camera & lens, spotting scope or some other similar device.  This kit includes the 482 Micro ball head and will support approximately 4.5 lb (2 kg).

        Comments about Manfrotto 3292 Car Window Pod with 482 Micro Ball Head:

        When it comes to Quality in Tri-pods Manfrotto is at the top of the game. This Window Pod is no exception. It is a very solid well built product. I have used it with several different camera setup's from a little Canon G-10 point and shoot, a Nikon D-700 with a 80x200 2.8 mounted and I have had a Gigapan Epic attached to it.

        It is stable enough to support any of the above mentioned with out any problems. It is compact and easy to carry around, fits in camera bag and takes up very little space, It is designed so it will not cause any harm to your car window also it is very easy to use and make adjustments. I have nothing bad to say about this pod and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a window pod.
