The BEC NP1 provides an NP1 holder for wireless accessories. BEC Holders mount on all cameras with the Sony screw configuration that is most commonly found on the NP/1 battery holder, the IDX NP/1battery system and the Anton Bauer Gold Mount system.

I used this mounting box to replace the counterweight on a DSLR shoulder mount (such as those by Zacuto and Red Rock Micro), and simultaneously provide 12v on-board power for accessories such as monitors and zoom control. I created a 15mm rod mount by drilling 2 holes in the back of the box, and used stainless steel bolts to attach it to a 15mm rod support. I also purchased a wireless mic holder box which will daisy-chain onto the back of the NP-1 holder box. To my knowledge, I'm the first person to some up with this type of accessory power and mounting system in conjunction with the DSLR technology hitting the market.
