Comments about Onkyo M-282 Stereo Amplifier:
A great option for me! A have a Onkyo TX-NR5008, and using 7.1 channel I don´t have option for biamplify frontal speakers. With this product, with a great price, the system received an cheap upgrade, concting this amplifier with midrange and tweeter, powering the front speakers. The receiver power is used for midbass, leaving sound more clear and deep.

Comments about Onkyo M-282 Stereo Amplifier:
Similar to other reviewer, product ran hot, then blinked, then died. Also purchased to run multi room speakers. A 40 watt Marantz amplifier worked great for 15 years, I figured the Onkyo would be incredible. It's terrible. Don't waste your money.

Comments about Onkyo M-282 Stereo Amplifier:
used it to run a second zone to my Klipsch exterior speakers. Ran very Hot after it decided to finally work. standby light continued to blink until I turned input knob to minimum. Then it decided to work but sound output was horrible. Checked everything thing else. strained my ears for 4 hours until it decided to stop working for good.gonna try a second one to see if I had a lemon

I use for the main home speaker for karaoke. It is the best. The amp can drive 300watt per side and have a lot of power. Totally happy about it.

Comments about Onkyo M-282 Stereo Amplifier:
This amplifier replaces an Onkyo TX905 receiver of 1994 vintage to drive a pair of Tannoy S8. The most obvious change was the tranparency of the sound, much more detailed. Presence is oustanding -I feel I own a new set of speakers as they are reaching their full potential because of the new amplifier. With a good basic preamp it really shines.
