Love this. It's super compact and light weight, easy to use, and gives me more control than the standard solid white that comes with the light. i wish it weren't so spendy, but I'm glad to have it, all the same.

I bought this to use it with my Rifa ex 44 and I really think that it gives you LESS spill on the background. I use it as keylight for 1 person interviewing (the ex 44 is not very big) and I get the feeling of more control of my keylight.
I think that the 40 degree egg crate is a good middle way to go (the egg crate's also availible with 30 or 50 degrees). As a rookie it can be a bit complicated to attach to the Rifa light, but I guess that's just about practicing.
