PreSonus HP4 - 4-Channel Headphone Distribution Amplifier
The HP4 from PreSonus answers the need for a headphone distribution amplifier with professional specifications in a small package at an affordable price. It is designed with four discrete headphone outputs on the front panel, each with its own volume potentiometer and 150mW of amplification per channel.
The HP4 also features adjustment capability for control-room monitors with a separate volume control, monitor mute switch and mono switch, thus giving you an extremely powerful monitoring solution at an amazingly low price.
- Four High Power Headphone Outputs
- The PreSonus HP4 manages four headphones with up to 150mW per channel. It features musical wide dynamic range, and control-room monitor outputs with level control.
- Modular Add-On
- This affordable unit can be added-on or added-to. The daisy chain configuration allows an infinite number of units to be connected.
- Convenient Controls
- There is no scrambling with this headphone distribution amplifier. With easy front-panel access you have push button mono or stereo operation, individual headphone level controls and a monitor mute switch right in front.

It does what it's supposed to, a nice lil' headphone amp for home recording. As with most Presonus gear... good construction/design, quality components and great pricing. Separate monitor level and mute plus mono switch nice touches. So are the 1/3 rack space size and pre-threaded bottom plate for mounting. Relatively clean and powerful.
