The AD-16X is a sixteen channel analog to digital converter, housed in a single rack space chassis. The unit features a redesigned power supply, standard 192kHz sampling rates and the same C777 clocking technology found in Apogee's Big Ben master clock for jitter free conversion.
The ability to install optional Pro Tools HD and FireWire expansion cards make the AD-16X a powerful and flexible conversion combination. Not only does the unit offer advanced conversion technology, but makes it available at a fraction of the cost previously associated with premium Apogee gear.
Note! The cables specified in the accessories section are examples of what is required to operate the AD-16X.
