I just got it, and I am still trying to figure it out. As a guitar player who travels a lot , I have always wanted something like this.It will look really nice on stage, I'm sure, but I think it is too heavy for a small woman like myself to carry it around.

I use it as a piano bench with back support. It does this well, it is very comfortable, and built with sturdy, heavy duty components.I would have given it five stars, except it has a lot of wobble and back and forth play in the quick adjust connections, in the seat, footrest, and backrest. I compensated for this with some duct tape to fill in the spaces of the fittings, and it's much tighter now, should not have to do this with a new stool though. Still, it's the best of this type of equipment I've seen for the money.

I'm a guitarist and keyboard player. Sitting at the keyboard was the main issue. The lowest height is a tad high, but with the footrest for one foot and a separate footstool for the other, it works fine.
The instructions didn't match the actual product. I was prepared for that. The seat and the backrest both wobbled a bit. I put some foam in strategic places to cut down on that and the creaking sound.
The seat is very nice considering the only other options I saw were either piano benches (I needed a backrest) or drum thrones. It took some adjustment, but the backrest is quite nice too.
