Now the computerized version, available on many of Celestron's finer scopes, is also available for purchase so that you can put any optical tube assembly that you like upon it. The optional GPS accessory is highly recommended for incredibly accurate scope alignments.

Comments about Celestron CG-5 Motorized Equatorial Telescope Mount with Tripod:
This is a very interesting mount as you get a lot for the price you pay. This is not a high-end mount (e.g., Astrophysics/Takahashi/Losmandy), but it does the job very well. I use it for visual observing with a Televue TV-102, and it handles the load nicely. The GoTo is pretty impressive. Multiple meridian swings to east/west targets always yield the object in the field of a 13mm Nagler. I do not do astrophotography, so I cannot comment on the accuracy of tracking for long exposures, but for visual work it is very good.
