Needed a wheeled case to lug all my gear on wedding shoots and this bag is perfect! Well built, plenty of pockets and room for everything plus back-ups AND didn't break the bank. Looks great, too! I love it and will get plenty of use out of it

I love this bag and find it extremely helpful to get my gear around at weddings and photo sessions. It is great for airline travel and holds 2 bodies, a variety of lens... even a 70-200mm, flashes and additional gear.

Comments about Pelican PCS172 Wheeled Camera Case - for 2 SLR Camera System plus Notebook Computer:
I'm a professional photog and had to update a carry-on travel case. After searching through many $250-$400 rolling cases, I took a chance on the PCS172 because it was a Pelican and was affordable, coming in around $150. I was very surprised by the excellent quality, the design and function. I love the top access, the laptop bag that tucks nicely inside and the over usefulness. I am very pleased. It really looks good rolling down the way, as well!

Wyyooper your right, the pull out handle is a little cheap and mine did finally stop working, but I have had good use from this unit. I travel extensively around the world for months at a time and load this bag to it limits every trip. I can tell you the soft handle is very strong because it has lifted some serious weight for me. I have been using this bag for over five years and it came with a lifetime warranty. I am going to put that warranty to the test by sending it in to have the pull out handle fixed. I will let you know how that goes.

Comments about Pelican PCS172 Wheeled Camera Case - for 2 SLR Camera System plus Notebook Computer:
The Pelican PCS172 provides the Pro Photographer with lots of protection for his/her equipment. The interior can be customized to fit your needs. It holds two Pro Bodies, a 300mm f2.8, 17-35mm f2.8 and even a 70-200mm f2.8 among a whole lot of other accessories. The hide-a-way telescopic handle is ideal for carrying the included laptop bag with strap. The bag also meets the airline carry-on regulations and is easy to transport. There are lots of pockets for odds and ends and it appears to be well constructed. I would have liked to have seen included a rain cover for added weather protection.
Overall I think the Pelican PCS172 really flies.

Comments about Pelican PCS172 Wheeled Camera Case - for 2 SLR Camera System plus Notebook Computer:
Needed a camera bag that rolls as my backpack camera bag is just to hard on my aging back. The Pelican holds all my gear including two Canon digital cameras, Canon 300mm 2.8 lens, Canon 2X, Canon 200mm lens and Canon 28-105 lens. I also have my battery charger, case with flash cards and several other items in the bag, all fitting nicely. The only concern I have is with the pull out handle for rolling the bag as it seems a little on the cheap side. Time will tell as I'm headed out on my first airline trip with it July 24, 2008.

Comments about Pelican PCS172 Wheeled Camera Case - for 2 SLR Camera System plus Notebook Computer:
Used the case on my last vacation. Nice to be able to wheel it through the airport. It held all of the equipment I wanted to use and was easy to put in the overhead compartment. (I'm vertically challenged). The computer compartment allowed me to store my computer too. I only needed one case.
