Compact, rugged and versatile, the broad throw Lowel Tota-light can be used with an umbrella or gel-frame and diffusion as a soft key, fill, or backlight. With its adjustable reflectors, it can be a smooth and even background light, or point it toward the ceiling to raise the ambient (base) light level of a room. Tota is also widely used for photographic copy work.
When fitted with an EMD 750 watt 120 volt bulb (available separately), the Tota-Light will emit a beam of 41 footcandles, with the barndoors @ normal position, and 34 footcandles with the barndoors @ 180° position, from a distance of 10' (3m).
The Tota-Light is multi-voltage capable. A choice of bulbs, and plug adapters are available -- check the Accessories window of this item.
Lowel UNI-TO light stands are constructed with thick-wall, anodized aluminum alloy tubing to deliver an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio. All have a standard 5/8" top stud with safety undercut, adjustable base spread and collar-clamping for each segment.
Design is based on Uni & KS Jr. stands.
Fits directly onto Tota or Omni and ViP lights without tools. Slightly softens the light output, with some specular highlights.
Heat resistant, woven, soft-silver surface.
This size is perfect for a 1 person head shot, or 3x4 ft product setup.
The Lowel Tota Frame holds 10 x 12" (25.4 x 30.5cm) gels and diffusion materials. It slips directly into the Tota, or Omni fixture's designated slot, allowing it to tilt and pan with the light unit. Tota-Frame folds down easily to fit in almost any location case.
The Lowel LB-30 Small Litebag accepts two Pro-lights and two V-lights (or four Pro-lights), four ViP or Uni-stands, or two Omni-lights, three Uni-stands, or an Omni, two Tota-lights, and three Uni-stands.
A storage pocket is in the lid, and partitions are included.
