Leica has selected Billingham to supply a combination bag that is tailord to fit a typical Leica M system. A bag that accomodates two M bodies with lenses attached, or one M body with 3-4 lenses, plus a flash and some additional accessories.
This bag features a zipperless main compartment with excellent weatherproofing and quick access to your gear. The quick release studs hold down the top, which is gusseted on the sides for extra precipitation protection. There are interior front and back pockets and adjustable interior dividers.
Billingham is proud of their leather, used abundantly in all their bags. They buy the best top-grain leather hides, each with its' own unique markings and imperfections. They are then tanned and dyed by hand to bring out the natural grain of the skin.

Comments about Leica Combination Bag for M system:
Quality and size work for me and my M8.2, 3 lens and then some. Also has room for my Leica D-Lux 3. This size in black is less obtrusive which is a benefit in general. A little more in withe wouldn't hurt but this works for me. The high price is irrelevant considering it's protecting $12,000+ in Leica equipment.

Comments about Leica Combination Bag for M system:
I plan on returning this item. There is nothing wrong with this bag; it is well constructed and would make a fine carry bag if you had only one lens and one M body. However, I have one M body and three lenses. Leica ships their lenses in very nice, padded leather pouches. These pouches offer superior protection for these expensive lenses. However, there is not enough room in this bag for these lens pouches. At best I could only fit one lens pouch along with my M9 into this bag. And the lens pouch for my Noctilux is too wide for this bag. So, if you have only one lens or you don't care whether or not you use the lens pouches, then this bag is perfect. Otherwise, look for something larger.

Comments about Leica Combination Bag for M system:
I've been looking for a small, versatile, and inconspicuous bag to carry the M9 with a couple lenses, charger, etc. when I don't want to log around the 5D, especially when working overseas. This bag is almost perfect in terms of functionality. The Billingham and Leica logos are on the inside, the bag doesn't look like a camera bag, it's a big plus for security.
The black material does seem to visibly attract dust quite easily. One subjective thing is that I think the locking mechanism can be improved - it takes a bit of fiddling to open the top when the bag is locked.

Why skip on the bag that will protect the fine camera. This bag makes it easy to grab the camera while photographing on the go. Great bag [...]

Comments about Leica Combination Bag for M system:
The Leica combo bag is just the right size to carry what I need without being too conspicuous. I carry a Leica X-1, Leica V-lux 20 and a Lumix GF1 with both the pancake and the zoom lens. I have room for all the extra batteries and chargers and can carry my Leica HD 32 binoculars when travelling.

Comments about Leica Combination Bag for M system:
There are two problems with this bag. It is square shaped and often roll over. The other is not as important, but the black version with the silver knobs looks like a woman bag. I would not recommend the black bag unless you're a chick [...]Unfortunately, I am neither. The bag holds my M9, two lens, and an air blower.

Comments about Leica Combination Bag for M system:
I found the perfect Billingham bag for my compact Leica's. After evaluating many brands and bags I found this Billingham bag holds my Leica X1 and D Lux 4 perfectly with room to spare for memory cards, spare batteries, moisture monsters, chargers when needed, etc. With the addition of the Billingham AVEA pouches (two can be attached to the bag)you can add even more room. There is a rear pocket and front zip pocket under the main flap. Perfect sized and with hidden Billingham Leica labels the bag does not scream photo bag. Usual Billingham craftsman, designed to last a liftime and the moveable interior flaps let you customize the interior to your changing needs. I plan to purchase another for a Leica M system.
