Gator Cases G-MIX-L-16X22 Lightweight Mixer Case
The Gator G-MIX-L-16X22 Lightweight Mixer Case is wide enough for a 19" rack mount mixer to drop in. It is constructed of heavy duty EPS foam to protect the mixer during transportation. The exterior is made from 600 denier nylon. The interior liner will adhere to touch fastener material for blocking in smaller mixers. A detachable exterior pocket is perfect for cables and accessories. A deluxe shoulder strap and webbed handles makes this case easy to carry. This case will carry a Mackie CFX16-type or similar size mixer.

This is probably the best soft case I have ever used. It even makes me look good when I walk in the gig!

This case was much more than I expected for the price. All 6 sides of this case are reinforced with heavy cardboard and the entire inside is lined with a thin layer of foam and then a nice soft fabric. The outside is a durable feeling canvas. I feel very safe carrying my Korg D3200 digital recorder between recording venues with this case. The Korg fits perfectly in depth and width and I needed a 2 inch thick piece of foam to secure it lengthwise. I use this to hand carry my equipment. It has feet so that it can be set down like a suitcase to open doors etc. I would not recommend it for shipping or trucking of gear. It will not protect the gear from being crushed or mishandled.
