Comments about Pioneer PL-990 Turntable:
I bought this turntable as an upgrade from my "all-in-one" player with built-in speakers. Did some research and for the price range I was looking in, this was seemed like the best choice. I'm glad I went with it too, the sound quality is great, new or old LPs, doesn't matter. Assembly is easy and quick. I've had it for two weeks now and I have no complaints.

Comments about Pioneer PL-990 Turntable:
I am replacing an older Pioneer turntable that went with an 80's stereo system. I had that turntable repaired to the point that it's cheaper to buy a new one. So I found this PL-990 Pioneer at B&H. I read the instructions and was a little daunted by the fact that it has it's own built in pre-amp and can't be plugged into the stereo's "Phono jacks". Being that my stereo system is older, I don't have any auxilliary jacks. I didn't know what I was going to do. So, I simply plugged the turntable into my system's cd jack and voila, it plays beautifully!!!! Wow, my old records sound amazing with this turntable!! I'm very impressed! Great turntable at a great price to listen to great music!! Thank you!! I highly recommend! =) Enjoy!
