Comments about ART PHANTOM II Pro - Battery Operated Phantom Power Supply:
This item works great. but I did manage to burn one of my channels on Sony D50. so you need to be careful with this thing and follow the instructions which are connect everything and only then turn the power on. since I started doing that I didn't have any problems. I did do a comparison between using the Phantom on my M-box and compare it with using the Phantom from PHANTOM II . and there was a little less noise while recording with the PHANTOM II pro. this item is quite bulky as mentioned by other reviewers.
either than that I'm happy about it. specially for the fact that other devices that do the same thing costs between $100-$400. another problem with this item is that a battery house. I had to use tape to keep it in place otherwise the batteries just floating around inside this thing which is not a good idea.

Comments about ART PHANTOM II Pro - Battery Operated Phantom Power Supply:
This unit is conveniently sized and a good solution for a portable battery operated phantom power supply. The only thing I didn't like is the battery compartment is a little tight to get the 9V battery clip and battery back inside the opening.

Comments about ART PHANTOM II Pro - Battery Operated Phantom Power Supply:
I use it for external camcorder microphones
It is lightweight and solid.
Works like it should. Provodes quiet phantom power of either 12v or 48v on each chanel.
Batteries do rattle, so it took a piece of the foam packaging they came in, and placed it in the battery compartment. Problem solved.

Comments about ART PHANTOM II Pro - Battery Operated Phantom Power Supply:
I use this to power my NTG-3 since I don't own a mixer and my camera does not provide phantom. It does a good job with providing CLEAN and CLEAR phantom power. It also seems like a solid, durable, lightweight design. My two problems: the battery compartment needs improvement, it is pretty cheaply designed; another thing I didn't like is the lack of an optional belt clip which would be great for boom operators. One very nice thing is that it actually came WITH 2 batteries! In all I am pretty happy with this and functionality wise it is great, just a couple minor design flaws.
