Skippy's Noizbox from Ilio is another sample library created by John "Skippy" Lehmkuhl containing techno-club beats, Euro grooves, innovative and cinematic sounds and textures. Noizbox has more processed elements than his previous Skippy's Big Bad Beats with more than half of the grooves over 120 BPM and featuring a palette of hi- and mid-fi sounds.
Every groove is provided with several different mixes and separated into "construction kits" for both the Standard and Groove Control loops. The Groove Control process cuts up the library into a huge amount of possible groove mixes and tempos. In turn this process allows the user to adjust groove tempos, so that they can sync up with a host sequencer but also goes far beyond mere tempo shifting. It provides access to the pitch, feel, sound and in many cases the mix of the groove too.
This library has been compiled to work with Roland hardware samplers. The CD ROM also comes with an audio CD version.
