Great variety for placing lights where you NEED them, holding reflectors, etc. Heavy and solid which is good for lighting (bad for travel).
Just need 2 more!

I own two of these and use it for studio and location work. They're solid, versatile and exactly what you need. Like most things, you get what you pay for and these stands are definitely worth the price and piece of mind.

Comments about Avenger A2033FKIT Century Stand Grip Head, Arm Kit - 10.75' (3.25m):
These stands are a must for the studio because they are heavy duty enough to keep the lights in position with out them drooping. Sand bags straddle the legs nicely so that the stands and lights don't tip. What I like is the ability to extend the lights closer to the subject without the stands getting in the frame.

Don't delay... get this C-stand! It's heavy duty and the mini-boom arm is great. I use the Westcott 28" softbox on the arm and it is a very durable stand, but you definitely need to invest in sandbags or some kind of weight (I actually use 25lb dumbbells - works the same) just to ensure safety.

Nice to have something sturdy and well made. I bought a boom pole holder to go on it and it works perfectly.

It is very strong and resistent. Great for using in studio. It can be used with very heavy lights without any problem. It is not so portable or easy to carry. The legs are too big an it is a little heavy.

The C-Stand is strong and versatile, supporting lighting units, modifiers, backgrounds, almost anything within reason.
Rubber-coated handles provide better grip for tightening the grip heads. The stand is super stable, especially with the addition of a medium sandbag.
