The TX-1W from RDL is a high-quality compact amplifier designed to feed music or voice signals to a telephone system. While conventional amplifiers can produce irritating artifacts at a caller's earpiece when connected to a music-on-hold system, the TX-1W features a response that's specifically designed to match the widest variations in telephone audio distribution to produce a crisp sound without the typical problems found in MOH systems.
The amplifier features RCA phono input and output connectors to connect to a phone system's unbalanced input. The output can deliver line-level signals for a typical input, but can also provide 1W RMS to an eight Ohm input. A screw terminal output is also provided for connecting to systems with a 600 Ohm transformer input.
