Comments about Kodak T-Max Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
T-max developer is very useful developer for T-max 100/400s. I can use it any time due to liquid, not powder such as D76. Just dilute it with water.

Comments about Kodak T-Max Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
I use this product to process my Kodak TMY 120 black and white films. I prefer this type of developer to the other brands for this particular type of film; I find it to be very consistent and reliable. I would recommend this developer for someone using Kodak black and white roll films; I wouldn't recommend it for classroom use where students may come in with a variety of brands of films. Great Product!

Comments about Kodak T-Max Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
I use this for developing B&W 35mm and 120 film (usually Kodak Tmax brand but I have used it for Ilford as well).
It's easy to use and gives consistent/even development through multiple rolls/development batches.
I'm considering ordering the larger size next time as I go through this fairly quickly.

Comments about Kodak T-Max Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
I am using this on TMAX films, of course, but also on Kodak 2210 Surveillance Film (WL 400) which is also a T-grain film. Of course this product is proven, but I find its performance on the Surveillance film to be outstanding. I am using the temp/times recommended by Kodak.

Thank goodness, Kodak is still around!!! I only trust Kodak in darkroom chemistry, and this bottle of developer is no exception. Does what I need it to do without any worries. Phenomenal!

Comments about Kodak T-Max Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
So far I have used this developer for 35mm Ilford HP5 400 and Kodak Tmax 400. Surprisingly I've noticed more grain when used with tmax film. I like it overall, does the job but I haven't used any other developer to compare it to, thus the 4 star rating. I'm new to developing film at home and I initially read that tmax developer and tmax film were harder to handle and get consistent results with. I'm still learning the process and fine tuning my methods to get consistent results.

Comments about Kodak T-Max Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
One thing I love about T-max developer is that it has a shelf that's just about forever. I've used it after 5 years -- still perfect. So, it's great for the casual B&W souper. Very easy to use -- no mixing powders, and the results are always great. Always delivers the full rated film speed, too, with the minimum amount of grain. I've used it with T-Max, Tri-X Ilford, Fomapan, etc. No problems. What's not to like?

Comments about Kodak T-Max Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
I use this in my Photo class at Queens College with T-Max 100 and while it is not the conventional D-76, it does allow for very smooth grain, very nice contrast, and the grain is low. It does however, have a bit more aggression than D-76 with T-Max... but that's because it's designed for this film... I personally like to keep t-max with t-max so that there's less risk of making oopsy with non-native developers.

Comments about Kodak T-Max Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
I first used T-max developer in college and have recently come back to processing my own black and whites. I decided to use T-max again after several years of not processing. It's a great formula that gives you lots of latitude and consistent results. I normally shoot kodak t-max film in ISO200 or 400, 35mm and 120mm. After eyeballing the exposures on my first roll of 120 (no light meter, yay sunny 16 rule) the film came out great! good density, contrast, and great tonal range. i'll keep using t-max because i've never had a bad experience with it, and i love the results. some people say it's a bit too contrasty, and true, i've never tried it with other b&w films such as tri-x, but i like contrast, and i like the grain structure on t-max film... so why not use the developer specifically marketed for it?

Comments about Kodak T-Max Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
I recently started developing my own film again, and chose T-Max as my developer due to its easy use and long life. I've used it on 400TX and Neopan 100, and the results have been wonderful - I really get a long geyscale and well-scanning negatives. The development times tend to be short-ish with this developer, which may limit its adaptability.

I decided to try this out on my T-Max 400 after being a loyal D-76 user. The results were great. The shadow detail is beautiful and the working solution is very easy to mix.
