Great film
I'm really biased in favour of Tri-X since I've used this film for around 35 years. The film has been updated continuously over that time, but the shooting attributes have remained the same.

With Tri-X, you get an extremely large amount of latitude during both exposure and development. I don't believe any other film comes close. I know a few other photographers that hate Tri-X, but even these people will concede this one point.
I use day-to-day for general purpose photography. I prefer the 24 exposure rolls, since I adjust my camera settings for specific conditions. I push and pull the film all the time, and also use EV corrections, all to meet either lighting conditions, or effect desired.
The film can be extremely grainy. I use experience to either tone-down, or magnify the grain.
If you are new to black and white photography, you will probably want to give Tri-X a try, even if you do not like film grain. The main reason I say this is because the film is very forgiving to underexposure particularly, but also overexposure. Also, it is easy to handle in the darkroom, and is forgiving on that end as well. Can be processed with most any developer available.

This film was great. It was easy to load in the camera and helped produce great pictures. I was really pleased with the fact that the film did not scratch easily when I developed the negatives. I bought many rolls of this film when I purchased my items and I am very glad that it is a great product.

I needed to buy this film for a Black and White photo class I am taking in college. After working with primarily digital photography I was stunned at how nice the pictures looked. You can bet I will be using this film and other film more often in the future.

Comments about Kodak TX 135-24 Tri-X Pan Black & White Print Film (ISO-400):
Great black & white film. My only complaint is that I think it has a little too much contrast, and I prefer some of the Ilford films in that regard. However, this is a great film.
