This device, known as a "Flow Through Foot", is intended to facilitate smooth entry and egress of a straight XLR cable from K-Tek boompole models K-56 and K-102. It has a 1 3/4 inch "Stubby" slot to permit smooth flow and minimal binding of longer cables, and the base is of a standard Mushroom type. The design is meant to minimize the overall length of the Boompole with this unit attached.
