Rolls MX124 - Mixer Estéreo Portátil de 4 Canais
O MX124 ProMix IV da Rolls é um mixer de microfone leve, compacto, de 4 canais, com entradas XLR de 3 pinos e saídas XLR estéreo (L/R) balanceadas por transformador. Localizados na lateral da unidade estão 4 seletores de phantom power de 18V DC e 4 seletores de filtro de corte de graves.
Fontes de phantom power com possibilidade de seleção individual proporcionam flexibilidade para a utilização de microfone condensador e dinâmico simultaneamente e seletores de filtro de corte de graves eliminam hum, "rumble" e ruídos associados com o vento e o efeito de proximidade. O painel frontal apresenta controle de pan e de nível para cada canal. O fone TRS de 1/4 de polegada e saídas mini de 1/8 de polegada (3,5mm) podem ser utilizados para alimentar headphones ou como saídas estéreo alternativas. O mixer é completamente portátil, operando com duas baterias alcalinas de 9 Volts, tornando-o uma ferramenta conveniente para ENG/EFP, vídeo, reforço de som e aplicações de PA.

- Saídas Balanceadas
- A seção de saída possui saídas XLR macho balanceadas por transformador estéreo (L/R), fornecendo o máximo ganho enquanto reduz e mantém um patamar de ruído baixo.
- Phantom Power Selecionada Individualmente
- A unidade fornece phantom power de 18V DC. Quatro seletores de phantom power estão localizados no painel lateral. Isso possibilita o fornecimento de phantom somente para os canais em que houver necessidade.
- Low Cut Filter

This product is a simple, yet effective microphone mixer. It offers 4 XLR mic level inputs with switchable phantom power and low cut filters for each channel and stereo L/R XLR outputs. The XLR outputs are mic level; important to know when feeding the next piece of equipment in the chain. There are 1/4" and 1/8" phone outputs on the front of the device that are line level. Each input channel has input level and pan controls. There is a master output level control for each XLR output in the form of small, screwdriver rotors. The device comes with a 12 volt power adapter or can be powered via two 9 volt batteries. Solid build construction and clean sound. If the features offered are what you need, it's a fine device.

This is not a professional product but can be useful for some professional cameraman if you don't have a budget for a sound person and mixer. First, it is a 4 channel XLR input and 2 channel mic. level output, it is useful for a 2 camera interview setup and also shooting a forum with 4 mic., sound can be group and feed to both camera....
Be reminded, there a output level switch close to the output jack and you have to adjust to a lower level to avoid peaking before first use.
I have a zoom handle recorder and can be used as sound level monitor/recorder and this device has no meter for sound level. It is better if your camera can generate a 1KHz tone for sound level line up before every use.

Hi, I do a lot of ENG field work and to be able to use a mixer of 4 mikes all needing different requirements this MX124 saves my work most days several times over. I recently gluded it to a heavy bracket so I can load it directly on to a tripod with a recording deck.... and 2 wireless recivers..Brilliant

What can I say. It does everything I need. The price is right and although it cannot be hooked up to a tripod, you can buy a strap for it or put it in a carrying bag with your other sound equipment (like receivers and extra connectors etc.).
Overall a great little unit.

I am a legal videographer and this mixer replaces my Mackie 1202vlz. It's sound is very comparable to my Mackie. It's size really makes life easier when you have to haul as much gear as a legal videographer has to.

Works great for interviews with Sony HVR-A1U camera. Great battery life. I was going to buy Shure mixer but this is much cheaper. Metal frame keeps S/N good but makes it heavy.

If your client is willing to pay for an audioman with all his gear, go for it.
If not, this mixer is very helpful. It's not transparent, but the sound is quite good.
You have to make a choice; use less mikes ( usually 2 on your cam) and not background noise, or use up to four mike and deal with the hiss. Less is usually more, so I will use this mixer only in last resort. But if I decide to use it even with it's limitations, it's up to the task.

Very handy for my boom/sound guy to ride levels while I keep my attention on camera work. Portable, convenient and great sound. I wish it had meters, but for the price, you can't beat it.
