I'm guessing the B&H must have bought up the last of the Konica-Minolta stock, but regardless, if you have a working Maxxum 5D or 7D, or a Dimage A1 or A2 - you can't go wrong with these at this price.

They were original KM batteries, just like the one's I received/bought when the Maxxum 7D was new. Gave them a charge and they are working fine. Use the 7D as a back-up camera.

I still have my Minolta 7D and am using the original NP-400 battery that came with the camera. Camera still works great.

I was going on vacation and wanted to get a backup battery. The least expensive one that I could find was the minolta NP-400 from B&H.
It works just as good as the original. I would highly recommend this battery for anyone who needs a backup or new NP-400 battery.

As long as I am using this camera hopefully B&H will continue to carry it at a great price.

My Maxxum 7D came with one of these which lasted me for years. I had ordered a backup with the camera but ended up with an off brand which never seemed to hold a charge long. But this is one of the batteries that came in the original package and it never fails to stay charged during long storage and seems to keep on snapping pictures forever. I ordered two.

I used the battery a few times and I can't tell the difference between it and the original Pentax one!

I'm using it on a Pentax K20D. It's a good alternative to the Pentax OEM batteries. The build is very similar to the OEM (golden contacts, plastic cap) contrary to the cheap chinese knock-off.
Conclusion: fantastic value.

Compared to the Pentax OEM battery, this one performed just as well. And though Konica MInolta no longer makes DSLRs, I trust their brand over all the generics for sale on [...]. The price is silly compared to another Pentax replacement. Buy it.

Charged it with the Pentax charger and used it when the Pentax batteries went dead the first time. Seem to work just fine for a fraction of the cost. Only reason I gave them a 4 is I'm not sure if I'll get the same number of photos on a charge. But, so far, so good. Got 540 on the Pentax batteries and am up to 800 photos on the camera now with the NP batteries.

I bought 4 of these for my Pentax K20. I wanted plenty of backup for my 5 week trip to Nepal and Thailand. After 1200 pictures and 5 weeks of shooting, I only used two full charges. Never even touched the OEM Pentax battery on the trip. It did get very cold on the trek, so I made sure to keep the batteries on me at all times or in the sleeping bag with me during the cold nights. I had no problems with these and recommend them. Make sure to read the instructions, as they come with good tips to prolong the life of the battery.

I bought several these as spares for my Pentax K10D as they are for all intents technically the same as the Pentax OEM batteries. I have noticed no perceivable difference in charge life than the OEM Pentax. I do however notice a significant difference in my wallet.
