I am an amateur photographer looking for much better lighting for some of the video work I do. These fixtures are durable, and designed to take the heat of high wattage lamps safely. No plastic parts. Metal reflector, high heat ceramic electric fixtures, and a solid wood handle. Cord and switch are excellent quality. This fixture was built like it was made in the 1960's. It will last a lifetime. No corners cut here. The price was great, and I'll never need to ever replace it.

I had to shoot some interviews for a documentary and buying this along with a few other items (stands, daylight bulbs, other reflectors) was about as expensive as renting an Arri kit for two days. And I still have it for future shoots. Not a great bit of equipment, but does the job in a pinch. The locking mechanism on the sockets is kind of awkward.

We're using this reflector on a 500 watt bulb for video interviews. It gets the job done, and secures to the instrument tightly. I don't have any attachments (gel frames and whatnot) but as a simple reflector, it's all you need.

Bought some work lights at [...] first. Then got these. 100 times better then work lights. Excellent looking light. Work lights are nothing compared to a nice 250w/500w light on adjustable stands. Great value

They are exactly what you see and I would say they are better then you would actually get if you went to [...] and made your own. These dont have grooves, so the light doesnt admit any unwanted shadows.

This is the second product I've purchased from B&H, the first item was a Pentax K-5 back-up camera. [...]I have no worries about the product's quality and reliability. The reflector works great with LED and CFC full spectrum bulbs. The only thing that I would add might be the option of a dimmer.

Wider than expected, but excellent product for the price. I may get smaller reflectors as a result and these will help to addend my collection of photographic equipment.

I bought this reflector as part of a lighting kit. I am a novice when it comes to lighting and when I got the kit I learned things by trial and error. I found the reflector very useful in cutting the amount of light coming onto my homemade set. I had lots of lighting options at the tip of my fingers and was pleased at the results. [...]

Good price, and I've had really great results from this light. As amateur filmmakers, my friend and I found this a perfect product to increase the quality of our films. I recommend it to anyone else getting started in filmmaking.

I just bought the kit a few days ago and works just great. The switch works perfect and you can place them anywhere you like and just click them on individually, great for events or studio. I recommend it !

A no frills light fixture that's made pretty well and is very useful in close to medium close situations. It's a very good value.
