From the Audio-Technica Artist Elite series, the Audio-Technica AE-6100 is a hyper-cardioid, dynamic handheld microphone designed for vocal capturing in sound-reinforcement applications. The microphone delivers pristine signal reproduction with detailed articulation and low noise floor. The dynamic capsule features high Sound Pressure Level (SPL) handling, minimizing noise caused fast transients and signal peak distortion.
The hyper-cardioid polar pattern makes the AE-6100 an ideal choice for use around monitor speakers and adjacent instruments, as it provides maximum rejection of feed-back and off-axis audio signal. The AE-6100 features a frequency response that accentuates vocals by adding the intelligibility needed to cut through a mix. The rugged construction features internal shock protection and a steel wind screen that protects against noise caused by plosives.
