The Sony 8cm DVD-RW Recordable Disc for DVD Camcorders (Jewel case pack of 3) is a rewritable disc with 1.4GB storage capacity or 30 minutes recording tine in SP mode. It uses AccuCORE technology that delivers an enhanced level of recording ACCUracy, COmpatibility and Reliability. Designed for non-linear recording for the purpose of editing, this disc can be recorded and re-recorded many times.
- 8.0cm DVD-RW is a rewritable, recordable disc with 1.4GB storage capacity or 30 minutes of recording time in SP mode.
- Designed for non-linear recording for the purpose of editing, disc can be recorded and re-recorded (overwritten) up to 1,000 times.

I have a Sony mini-DVD camera and I recommend using the Sony mini-DVDs for it. Other discs are good, don't get me wrong, but when you use other brands in Sony, the camera has the annoying tendency to flash a 5-second message each time you start it (something to the effect that for max perf you should use a Sony disc). Other than that, all brands will work. But once you use a Sony disc it seems to speed things up. I also set it up so that my 30 minute disc will record and play for 60 minutes, you do not lose much def (unless you are a purist, like I am sometimes).
