The wide focusing range of the Omni-light makes it a flexible key light or backlight. Add diffusion or an umbrella, and it's a soft fill source. Available with a host of accessories and built for heavy-duty long life, the popular Omni is the perfect companion to the Tota.
When fitted with an EMD 750W bulb, the Tota-light will emit a beam of 41 footcandles, with the barndoors at normal position, and 34 footcandles with the barndoors at 180° position, from a distance of 10' (3 m).
When fitted with an FTK 500W bulb each Omni-light will emit a beam of 75 footcandles at full flood, and 475 footcandles at full spot, from a distance of 10' (3 m).

Cheap kits have lamps that burn out quickly and replacement lamps sometimes cost more than the fixtures. I knew I needed more for my interview filming. The fixtures, stands, bag and umbrellas in this kit are very high quality. They are heavy duty and performed flawlessly. I could not have been more pleased.
A very minor suggestion for improvement is to provide a heavy canvas bag for each of the light fixtures so that they do not rattle around in the carrying case. I kept mine in the original boxes, but now there is little room for additional equipment.
I have already bought an additional stand and barn doors for the Tota-light. I recommend that you consider the same. I will soon purchase an additional Tota-light and Omni-light to complement the set. I am not sure how I will fit them into my bag, but you will be surprised at how much better your film looks with a few extra hundred watts shining on your performer.
Light is truely the camera's friend.
Don't forget to order extra bulbs.
