Comments about Horita PTG Portable Mini Time Code Generator:
This little gizmo works great, except that there is one three position toggle switch that controls, programs and toggles the power for the entire UI. A separate on/off switch would have been nice. Operating the unit from one switch makes it a little convoluted to use. .
That said, it gets the job done and works well.

LCD screen is the perfect addition. Works like clockwork (no pun intended). Incredibly easy to use, portable, and just great.

Comments about Horita PTG Portable Mini Time Code Generator:
I use this with my SD 552 mixer/recorder in a bag and it works great. I like the size. It's very basic, but the menu takes a little bit of time to figure out. The only complaint I have is that if you are generating time code, you have to toggle a switch on the unit to start it. That switch sticks out and could potentially be toggled again if it's in your bag rig, thus stopping time code. It hasn't happened to me but I see a potential accident waiting to happen. The battery will also last 2 long days. Overall, it's a great inexpensive tool that's a must for people who work out of audio bags.
