The black with gray interior Gadget Bag 2400 from Canon is a Cordura bag rated to hold a Canon DSLR with standard lens attached. The bag secures using two quick-release buckles on the large front flap that covers the entire bag. For accessories and small items, there is a large zippered front pocket with two additional slash pockets inside that can hold memory cards, a lens cloth or even a battery. Inside the bag are five, movable, padded dividers that can be configured to suit your gear needs.
The two 6.5 x 5.5 x 1.5" (16.5 x 14.0 x 3.8 cm) zippered side accessory pockets are for filters and other similar sized items. On the inside of the lid is another zippered 9.0 x 5.0" (22.9 x 12.7 cm) mesh pocket. The Gadget Bag 2400 also contains two very convenient buckled tripod loops on the bottom. The back of the bag is smooth to minimize wear and tear as well as friction when bouncing against your body. Canon also provides two rubber feet to protect the bag from ground damage. It's finished off with a Canon logo on the front. The two top grab handles are connected by an overlapping touch fastened strap and there is also a removable, adjustable shoulder strap.

It's not a big, bulky bag but I have an XSi with an attached 18-55 zoom, a 55-250 zoom, a 430EX II Speedlight flash, a few instruction manuals, a few filters, and the A/V and USB cords that came with my camera in this bag....and there's enough space left over for two more lenses (a macro and a 100-300 zoom, for example). The dividers are movable and held in place by strips of "hook and loop" fastening material. I'd like to see Canon include one more divider. On the outside this bag is good looking while remaining simple - tough black fabric and strong black snaps. If you're looking for a camera bag that protects your investment, is easy to gain access to, is easy to secure, and performs those basic functions while remaining easy on the checkbook, you can stop shopping now. You've found what you've been looking for.

I would have given this bag 4 stars, but it is not at all as big as advertised. I am able to fit one body with vertical grip and small lens, plus one additional lens or flash. Of course, isn't it always the case that bags never fit as much equipment as advertised?

This bag is great, it has lots of pockets to hold accessories and was just the right size for my 60D and 2 lenses. I have room for another lens or two as well. The padding is nice and the construction looks like it should hold up well.

I use this bag for my camera supplies for a photography course and will continue using it after because it is absolutely perfect for my needs. It has just enough space (and then some) for me to put everything except for my paper and there are a lot of options for organization. AND it holds my tripod!

Bought this for my son's Canon Rebel T2i. We were impressed with the quality and versatility of this bag, it definitely surpassed our expectations!
He can comfortably fit the camera, 2 lenses, flash, and other accessories and the bag is more compact than our other older camera bags that fit the same items.

This bag is exactly what I was looking for to hold my new dslr. Currently it's holding my dslr, my point and shoot Canon SD870is, and a few cables but will have more than enough room when I buy another lens and other accessories.

Comments about Canon 2400 Gadget Bag (Black):
The bag is strong and sturdy. It fits my Canon EOS Rebel T3, tripod, Speedlite 300EZ, EFS 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses. There's still plenty of room if I wanted to add another lens or two. The movable velcro partitions make it really convenient for whatever you have to stuff in the bag!
Also, the B&H price is significantly cheaper than buying it directly from Canon!

Comments about Canon 2400 Gadget Bag (Black):
I outgrew my tiny one body, one lens camera bag when I bought a second lens, a flash, and a microphone for my t2i. I wanted something big enough to expand my collection, but small enough to take to a video/ photography gig or just carry around. So far, it's perfect. It holds what I mentioned above plus a few Diana f+ lenses with room for another lens inside. In the outside pockets I have a sony camcorder, and various diana accesories (flash, viewfinders, film), and the front pocket holds the charger, microphone (azden smx-10), extra battery, body/lens caps, and cleaning solution. Basically It could hold a body with a lens attached, three extra lenses and a flash (I have the 430ex II and it fits comfortably with the case it came with on) without stacking any lenses. I'm sure it'd hold a couple extra if you had prime lenses and stacked two in each compartment. The thing that surprised me about this case is how well made it is. The strap is surprisingly well padded, the bottom feels pretty solid, and has two plastic feet, and the side pockets are very plush and much larger inside than I expected. Even the front pocket could hold a ton more, it looks like it would expand quite a bit. Overall it has a very durable, solid feel. I also like its plain, well designed look. And another amazing thing about it is that it's only [$]! Name brands dont always matter, but in this case I think the canon name speaks to the quality of this bag.

This bag is very well padded and durable. I purchased it for my most recent vacation. I was able to fit a Canon 40D with a 10-22mm attached, a 28-135mm at the side, and a Canon HV10 camcorder all in the main compartment. There is sufficient space on the inside pocket for memory cards and camcorder tapes. The outside pockets are great for chargers and are also well padded to offer more protection. The shoulder strap is also well padded and offers great support.

Comments about Canon 2400 Gadget Bag (Black):
I use this to carry my canon 30d with 3 lenses and a flash and it is a very tight fit, if I attached the battery grip to the camera it would not fit, so all in all it is a good bag but seems to be a little smaller than what is advertised.
I would recommend this bag for a rebel user with only one extra lens and flash and you would have plenty of room.
Bag does seem sturdy enough for what I use it for.
Comments about Canon 2400 Gadget Bag (Black):
This bag is the perfect size! I took a chance and bought it online... I really needed to look at this in person before making the purchase, but the online price was too good to pass up.
Easily fits my t3i with lens attached... plenty of room for a couple more lens. Below is a list of everything I'll be carrying in this bag:
T3i w/15-85 lens
Canon 50mm
charger
2 camera batteries
2 SD cards
2 9-volt batteries
charger power cord
* wireless microphones
* Rode microphone
* lens filters
* lens cleaning kit
* Carryspeed viewfinder

This bag has, without a doubt, made carrying my photo equipment a lot easier, pretty adequate storage space and it fits my needs for the time being, but if you are higher up in ranks and have a larger collection of items, you will want something with more room.

Lots of room, but it's a bit bulky and loose-feeling. A big oversight is that lack of spinners on the shoulder strap attachments, so you're constantly having to flip the strap to straighten it out. I returned it and got the Canon 200DG.

It fit: Sony A300, 35-70/4, Minolta 50, Sigma 10-20, Sigma 18-50, flash diffuser from Gary Fong, a lot of filters. You can also attach a tripod outside the bag.
Design of the bag does not attract attention.
Not durable plastic fastening shoulder strap. Uncomfortable strap.

All in all, it's pretty useful - my only complaint is that my camera with a battery grip attached doesn't fit too well, but I can 'make it work'.

I use the bag to store my camera and audio gear. It fits my T2i body, the kit lens, my 50mm 1.8 prime lens, as well as my H4N Zoom recorder and headphones. The pouches are a little on the small side as my battery charger is a snug in them and the strap is a little on the short side. Overall a good bag.
