The Dynalite XP1100 AC Power Inverter provides a dependable 110 Volt AC power for a photographer's lighting gear on location.
It will provide power to Dyna-Lite, or any other manufacturer's 1000 w/s -- or lower -- 110 volt power pack or monolight.

I am an ASMP architectural photographer and I often need portable power for exterior photography. This unit does the trick. I recommend at least one spare battery. At [$] it's a small cost and test shots can use it up quickly. It has a quiet, but audible recycle buzzing sound and an accurate level indicator. It's weight makes it inconvenient for air travel, but works just fine for ground travel...and the battery swap is fast and simple.

I've used it on 5 shoots since I bought it a few weeks ago and it has performed great!
Extremely easy to use out on location (turn it on and plug in your strobes power pack).
I plug it in before I go to bed and I'm all set for my next day of shooting.
My first day of using it I shot @ 3 different locations(50-70 shots per location) and when I was finished I still had about 1/3 of the battery charge left.
So nice to be able to use my Dyna's out in the middle of a field (or anywhere my job takes me).
I'll never use my Lumedyne battery powered system ever again.
Sure it's 22.5 lbs. but it sure beats hauling a noisy & heavy generator around.

Works well on location and I can take my studio strobo with me without having to buy a battery powered equipment.
The only thing that was unespected was a wierd "buzzing" after I took about 60 shots on a 400W flash head.. Then after some more 30 shots, the powers wasn´t sufficient to charge my stobo.. Well had to stop for 1 hour to go back shooting..
Anyway, still a good piece of equipment !
