I love this background, I really do. But geez is it hard to close. If you go to the manufacturers website they have instructions, but I still don't have the hang of it down, and I definitely can't close it by myself. The portability and ease of setup is worth it though, I have 3 in different colors. I don't have a work van, so I don't have the room to carry around long rolls of paper backgrounds. I can throw this easily in my backseat, and it's light, which trumps the folding issues.

Unfortunately I ordered this product without satisfaction. B& H had great customer service all around, but the productdid not match up. it is made of cheap material that will notlast long. The outer rim is made from a felt like materialthat can be easily pulled. It is not wrinkle resistant, asit claims. It was HUGE. Fully extended on the stand, itthe rim stood 14ft before you could use the train. The outer rimdoes not allow you to fit this in a normal house ceiling. Ibought both the Black and the white, both are see through andallows noisy backlighting to come through the screen. itwould be fine if you were setting it up permanently in astudio, but to travel with it is impractical. All in all not a good purchase and was returned.

Comments about Botero #000 Super Collapsible Background (8x16') (White):
While I like spring-edged collapsible backgrounds in smaller sizes, this one has been incredibly frustrating. Hard to fold, hard to position (tends to push over the lightstands I use to prop it up), full of creases. Very painful if you kneel down on the edge during a shoot (or if a model without shoes steps on the edge). I finally cut the spring out of it and will just use it as a hanging background.
On the plus side, construction quality is good - no tears or wear issues after several years of use.

Comments about Botero #000 Super Collapsible Background (8x16') (White):
Very wrinkly and too large to fold easily. The size makes the tension on the fabric too weak as well. I generally love these backdrops, just don't buy this one.

Comments about Botero #000 Super Collapsible Background (8x16') (White):
I like this product, I'm using it for when I do on location shoots, but there were no directions included with the product. Normally, simple items wouldn't require directions, they're pretty self explanatory, but it would have been nice to have a little diagram showing how to close it correctly. If you haven't used these or collapsable reflectors before, it may be a little confusing. Also, with the order came an additional muslin sweep..I still have no idea what it's for.
I searched for the manufacturer's website for more information, and wasn't able to find it. (?!) I did come across a youtube video that shows how to set it up. It was really helpful, but I haven't been able to find it again or the Botero website.
The product itself seems fine, I just wish there was more information!

Comments about Botero #000 Super Collapsible Background (8x16') (White):
This product is great if you don't get frustrated. Its very difficult to put back in its cover. You have to fold it a certain way in order for it to fold correctly. We found videos online that show you how to fold it but its still difficult. The background was good but it was thin so you could see the color of the wall behind it.

Cons:
More flimsy than I expected
Gets dirty very easily
It is HUGE
Pros:
Doubles as a huge diffuser

How I use it:
I like to shoot a few 580ex's through this to get a large panel of diffused light. I haven't used it yet as a background yet!

Comments about Botero #000 Super Collapsible Background (8x16') (White):
I do a lot of sessions on location so it is nice to have something that is portable. The only down fall is that the material is fairly light which means that the white is somewhat transparent. It also wrinkles fairly easily.

Comments about Botero #000 Super Collapsible Background (8x16') (White):
It takes a while to learn "just the right way" to fold it up but after you get it, it's a breeze. Very easy to carry around, lightweight. Great for last minute portable studio situations. If light is coming from anywhere behind it, it is very see-through and flimsy. Better for indoors, without the worry of dirt and wind.

This is a nice background but I don't believe it offers any benefit over a standard muslin. I decided to return it just because it's difficult to deal with unless you have help.[...]

Very useful and easy to set up.
Kind of hard to fold the first time or so, after a couple of tries it's a snap to put away.
Will buy another two and recommend to all.

Comments about Botero #000 Super Collapsible Background (8x16') (White):
It is great in a bind but not everything I had expected. The fabric does wrinkle every time you have to pack it up. This leads to needing an iron every time I want to use it. The back support isn't bad but it sometimes falls over and you have to use a clip or something to keep it up. Not bad for the money but not a professional backdrop.

Comments about Botero #000 Super Collapsible Background (8x16') (White):
Just make sure that you have the 8 foot by 8 foot space for the actual background.
the background that comes free with it is actually only a white cloth with a hole in the top that you need a pole for.
It's a really nice large background... If only there were one a few feet larger, wider and taller.
I really like the long 8 foot trail it has

Comments about Botero #000 Super Collapsible Background (8x16') (White):
Although it sounded like a good idea for a collapsable white muslin b/g, it turns out that the material wrinkles very easily and the expansion ring does not pull it tight enough to remove wrinkles. Two lights on background also doesn't help much. Spending more time in post production cleaning up the b/g.

Comments about Botero #000 Super Collapsible Background (8x16') (White):
Not impressed. Big, but doesn't stretch out at all. I had to use small bungees to get it to look half way decent. I'm returning mine. I had it on a 13'tall stand and stretched between two other stands and still had a bunch of extra fabric in the middle that wriknled easily. Too big for setting up in people houses.
