I purchased 2 of these for on location school photos. I was disappointed with the thin fabric they are made of. They are semi-transparent and the colors are so subtle you can barely see them in the photo. I would not recommend these to anyone

Flimsy
Cheap carry bag that I'm sure will rip any moment.
Looks nothing like the well blended coloring on the sample photo, just big splotches.
Most importantly, it is more like a 4x6 considering that the coloring doesn't go to the edges.
Thin and see through.
Returning as soon as possible.

This is great if you are traveling and have small space. I used it for a Preschool that I did portraits for and it was perfect! I even turned it side ways for a couple group shots of 3 small kids! After a quick review I could fold it up and it takes up little space in my studio! I definitely will be purchasing more!

I was unhappy with the quality and returned it for a Lastolite which was superior to it in many ways.
Cons:
1. Creases from being folded remain after its opened.
2. The pattern of colors aren't blended and are more like large splotches. This might not be an issue if you're using a wide aperture to throw the background out of focus but for video the large dof picks up all details and imperfections.
3. Material is cheap and too thin. Things behind it affect its appearance.
4. The carrying case is also made out of a paper thin cheap vinyl material that doesn't protect the background and won't stand up to event use.
I was fooled by the positive reviews on other Botero collapsible backgrounds. Don't waste your money on Botero spend the extra $80 on the Lastolite.
