Quantum Instruments CCZ Short (1.5') Dedicated Module (Connection Cable) - for Turbo Series Battery with Canon 430EZ, 480G, 540EZ, 550EX & MR-14EX Flashes
"CC" series connection cables (modules) are the shorter version of the standard cables, and will work with any Turbo series battery pack. They are only 1.5' (.5 m) long, and prevent tangled cables.
Note! To use a Turbo-type battery pack with the Canon 580EX II flash, you will have to disable Flash Custom Function #01 on the flash.

The cable does what it's supposed to but a little too short for using on camera flash. It's perfect for using my speedlite on a light stand. I bought this to replace my old long version cable which seemed too long for on camera flash work. I recently bent the connection going in to the battery pack on the long cable. I wish Quantum had a cable length in between these available. If you use a flash bracket, forget about this cable and get the longer version.

The connection to the power pack seem to be good but the first time I used the cord the connection to the strobe kept coming loose.

This is the perfect cord when using a Turbo Compact Battery. The regular CZ is just to long. This is ideal.
