International orders*This kit consists of one Sidekick Shifter Plate + two 1/4" spacers and provides 1.25" offset between the Sidekick gimball adapter and your ballhead.
This kit shifts the Sidekick away from the ballhead, pulling your lens closer to the center of gravity over the ball head, and allows you to use larger lenses on the Sidekick.

Comments about Wimberley 1.25" Sidekick Shifter Kit:
This is the main reason why I stick with Wimberley even though there are a lot of Sidekick clones. None of them have any extension systems for their products. This is a well thought out addition. I use this for the 400 f/2.8 and it allows lesser vertical axis offset. This provides a smoother panning operation as the heavy lens does not off to one side too much. It's still not as good as the full Wimberley head, but if you use Sidekick, you know the pluses and minuses. The kit is pretty light weight as the centers is milled out.The only wish I have is Wimberley also includes the other set of screws so you can use this as AP-900 and AP-901. I had to purchase my own sets from [...] but it's only under $5.
