Grass Valley ACEDVIO Ultra - Analog/ DV Video Editing PCI Card without Software
The ACEDVio PCI card is the only card an editor will need. It offers a broad range of compatibility with almost all of the leading video editing applications, including Final Cut Pro, Xpress DV and Premiere. This card can also be used on both a Windows and Mac platform. It features analog and DV input/output with native open standard OHCI support for all popular video cameras and decks including: VHS, S-VHS, Hi-8, Digital8, DV and DVCAM. It also supports both PAL and NTSC video standards.

- The ACEDVio offers an extensive array of hardware and software compatibility, including Final Cut Pro, Xpress DV and Premiere, Vegas, Edition, MediaStudio Pro and Windows Movie Maker. It works on both MAC and PC, making your editing life easier by choosing the same card across platforms, and it provides support for all the popular video cameras and decks.

- Canopus' proprietary DV codec chip provides the best picture quality during your capture. The chip also offers locked audio support during analog-to-DV capture.
- Monitor/ TV Output for Editing
- Make use of a second Monitor/TV while editing.

- Capture and export both analog and DV video using the input/output ports on this card.
- Adjust Analog Video On-the-Fly
- Features adjustable brightness, contrast, saturation, hue and sharpness controls on analog video input using the included software (for Windows Only).

Limited compatibility with windows 7 although you can install legacy drivers to get windows to recognise the device. Basically it's not the product it claims to be. I have dvcam footage and it can't capture the audio with the video. And zero support from a company that has been on the decline since dvrex

Use this product to capture wide screen video from a Canon XL2. It is mounted inside my computer along with a Canopus DVRaptor card which is 8 years old. Both card perform perfect. I edit with ULead MediaStudio Pro 6.0 for the DVRaptor and 7.0 for the Acedvio (Raptor not compatible with 7.0) I have no plans to go High def.
