I purchased it for my Olympus Stylus Tough because it gets a lot of wear and tear and the original strap that came with the camera only lasted six months. Hopefully this one will last longer.

I thought I could put this on my Lumix LX-3. It's too flimsy, and there's no little plastic thing to tighten the strap around the wrist (or the make the "loop" of the strap smaller). I felt like the strap/loop would loosen and slide off (with the camera)! I'm not using it.

Comments about Nikon AN-CP14 Wrist Strap:
This low-end wrist lanyard seems to be made for the pocket-sized point-and-shoot market, but I used it on a larger (and heavier) Canon G11 and it performed quite nicely. That said, there's something about it that doesn't engender confidence. I wouldn't want to put too much strain on the strap by swinging the camera around too much -- that is, I don't feel comfortable putting extra stress on the attachment point between the thin cord (which attaches to the camera) and wider webbing that goes around your wrist. The strap is good enough, however, to provide the user the confidence of knowing that if the camera slips from your hands, the strap will prevent the camera from hitting the ground (or water, or whatever). Actually, my only real complaint is the color (gray), which for the price, is not much to complain about.

Comments about Nikon AN-CP14 Wrist Strap:
when our camera's wrist strap broke, a guy in the office bet me that I wouldn't be able to find a new one. Surprised him! The strap is perfect and just what we needed. I ordered 2 to have an extra on hand.

A pretty straightforward strap - I got mine as a replacement for a Canon S90 one I'd messed up. No frills but does the job.

Comments about Nikon AN-CP14 Wrist Strap:
I bought this because Panasonic, inexplicably, does not include a wrist strap with the LX5, only a neck strap. Who'd use a neck strap with a camera that small?
It works fine, is cheap, came quick...but it's not black...it's grey. That's why only 4 stars.

Comments about Nikon AN-CP14 Wrist Strap:
...this strap is for my $300.00 Rollei AFM35...but to be sure it was strong enough, I clipped my loaded medium format bag to the strap, and it held the 12 pounds nicely--so I have confidence it will hold a 9 ounce P&S...

I bought a point-and-shoot camera (Fujifilm F31fd) off [...] but it didn't come with a wrist strap. So I got this one. It's the right length (not too long) and cheap. It's pretty much like any other strap that comes included with your new point-and-shoot.

This simple wrist strap is inexpensive but provides protection against dropping your camera. Very similar to the one that came with my older Canon A620 camera.
