Eastman Tri-X Reversal Film 7266 (Super 8 mm) is a high-speed, panchromatic black-and-white film with an anti-halation undercoat that makes it suitable for general interior photography with artificial light.
When processed as a reversal film, the resulting positive can be used for projection or for duplication. If processed as a negative material by conventional methods, this film will yield satisfactory results, although there will be some loss in speed.

I shoot some things just for fun, on the side but so far have been happy with the results. I'm no pro at Super 8 film, but I do know that the latitude is great and Kodak is a favorite.

Very good movie film. I developed it as a negative instead of doing a reversal and it worked out well.

Comments about Kodak #7266 TXR464 Tri-X Super 8 Film:
This film has a quality all it's own, Unmatched by any digital device.
It is grainy, rich, has a depth and flexibility and renders a subject more 'real' than the hard edged, plastic and lifeless feel of consumer video equipment.
It is also much less forgiving than digital as you have to have your accurate lighting readings and know your equipment well to be able to determine what you will get. No light and you have black film. When the conditions are right, though, nothing beats this romantic, rich warm look of the tri-x reversal film

Comments about Kodak #7266 TXR464 Tri-X Super 8 Film:
This film stock is still reliable and properly exposed, will give you the kind of latitude one hopes for with Super8. Over exposing slightly is not a thread,m though slight under-exposure risks giving you mud. What is amazing is how nice the contrast is and also how fine the grain pattern is compared to stocks from years back. A high definition transfer from this stock can look terrific. Thankfully the notching in the cartridge can be read by virtually any Super8 camera. I've shot the Tri-X on a Canon 1014 XL-S, a Nikon R10 and an old Bauer that is wroth about ten cents. it performed perfectly on all three cameras.

Great film stock. If you have/use correct lighting, whether natural or artificial, you get a great looking black and white. Fine grain, and great contrast and grading depending on the lighting. I use this to film surfing and and lifestyle montages. Also super 8 is a great medium to work with and very fun to use.

Tri-X has a very nice contrast and old film look. It also does well with my super 8 camera's auto light-metering. A very unique look.

why spend tons of money on hd cameras to make your videos look perfect? the imperfections you get from shooting film are more original and surprising to the yourself and the viewer! find a cheap super8 camera at goodwill, load up one of these puppy's and shoot away. i promise you'll love the end result!
