I mounted this on my hd camcorder for some handheld documentary. But even three yards from a white wall the light is to dimm. I cannot come up with any situation where it would serve a purpose. Buy a flashligt with a difuser and you are better off. Not worth [$]

I bought the klk-20 last week. It is actually the worst photographic investment I ever made. I'm just glad I'm only out 30 dollars. I read three reviews that said this was a great buy for the money. WRONG! After I charged the battery for four hours I turned it on. After 30 seconds, yes 3o seconds I could see the light start to fade. after one and one half minutes the light was useless. I could even hold the light 3 inches from my eye and my pupil would not dilate. So I charged it another four hours thinking maybe I had to charge it more then once but the same thing happened. I have done this four times with the same results. I can't send it back to B&H because I waited to long to test the light (my bad). Thank God I'm only out 30 dollars. I can't believe Bescor actually sells this light. I am going to call them tomorrow and give them a piece of my mind. Another bad feature about this light is that you have to charge the battery while it is in the light which means you have to but a lot of extra batteries if you want continue filming after the first set of batteries go dead. There are five batteries wrapped up together. Again stay away for this model and probably the klk-10 too.

Nice feature to assist in poor lit areas. Using for students to record PSA's.

The light is very bright for its price, and i use it to film skateboarding. It has a nice soft color because of the diffuser and can be angled.

Only 4 stars because battery life with one battery is only 15-20 min. Recommend a second one but great for those quick shots. I film skateboarding and my average clip is 10 sec. So I have two battery packs I have light the whole session. Plus it's halogen with a built in diffuser not LED so the light is warm and soft not harsh and spotty.
