This thing was very underpowered. Light output was very poor. Returned it and bought a Metz ring flash instead. It was a nicer idea than in reality.

It works. It fits a 52mm filter thread. Fine for my EFs 60mm F/2.8 Macro Lens.
I also have one that I hacked swapping the LED's for UV LED's. Both work good enough for amateur macro photography.
