Digi-Slave Mini L-Ring Ultra LED Ring Light
The Digi-Slave Mini Ultra L-Ring is a powerful, easy-to-use LED ring light. This constant light source is perfect for any kind of close-up or macro photography (dental, catalog, jewelry, etc.).
Shut off your camera's internal flash, set the exposure on manual, and the focus on macro. Center the lens and shoot. See the results on your camera's LCD screen. Exposure too light or dark? Vary the camera settings, or simply adjust the 24 high power white LEDs with their variable power dial to quickly and easily optimize the light output.
- 52mm threads mount to your lens' filter thread or adapter (additional lens adapters may be necessary).
- Variable power dial.
- Powered by 1x 9V battery (alkaline or rechargeable can be used), or by included AC adapter.

This thing was very underpowered. Light output was very poor. Returned it and bought a Metz ring flash instead. It was a nicer idea than in reality.

It works. It fits a 52mm filter thread. Fine for my EFs 60mm F/2.8 Macro Lens.
I also have one that I hacked swapping the LED's for UV LED's. Both work good enough for amateur macro photography.
