The filters in this kit work well for landscape photos as well as just for fun photos.
I like that they work for a variety of lenses with just a ring to purchase.
There is a problem with lens glare due to the loose rss of fit but that can be dealt with

I'm using this on a Tokina 11-16mm wide angle that uses a 77mm filter. If I set the lens to 11mm I do get a bit of shadow in the corners. Cokin recommends the Pro filers and mount for lenses of this size but this one works great. The warming filter adds a nice feel to the photos and the graduated blue makes the sky pop.

The glass slides come in their own rather clunky plastic case, but they're nice. I had to get the adapter to fit the 77mm lens.

I used these filters in Sedona Arizona to photograph the landscapes there. They really brought out the color that my camera alone flattened. I really loved the effects!

Even though you can photoshop and get some effects I prefer to get the effect by filtering on scene. I can manipulate the filters to where I need them to be. Nice kit!

I was hesitant to integrate filters in my workflow but have to say this set has rekindled my hobby and passion for it. The combination included(Warming, graduated soft edge blue and sunset do cover most of the situations you'll face. Why leave to chance and post processing in PS what you can control at the moment of capture?You will need a Cokin adapter ring to suit your particular lenses. With a Dremel tool I was able to cut, leaving only one filter groove thus eliminating vignetting on ultra wide lenses.

I recently spent several days shooting in a nearby National Park during the fall season and these were invaluable! These really help the color in the fall foliage 'pop'. This was the first time I had used any type of filter other than a neutral density or polarizing filters. I really liked the effect they gave my photos! I highly recommend these!
