If you need it, you need (i.e., transferring data from one Mac to another). Nothing complicated, thus there's not much to say about it.

Comments about Belkin FireWire 6-pin to 6-pin DV Cable - 6 ft:
I have had this cable for a couple of weeks. I've used it several times to connect my Canon Xh A1s camcorder to my Imac computer and have had no issues so far. [...] the cable itself feels very sturdy. It is stiff yet pliable. Overall, I am impressed with the initial quality. Only time will tell if it continues to live up to its 5 stars.
